Terry Brown is a Founder and Managing Partner of Asana Partners, a vertically integrated real estate firm with more than $7.0 billion in assets under management. The company is known for investing in and transforming experiential mixed-use and retail destinations.

 

Asana's portfolio includes a number of landmark properties in urban neighborhoods across the country. Prior to co-founding Asana Partners, Terry was Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of EDENS, one of the nation’s leading owners, operators, and developers of retail real estate. Before this role, he was Chief Executive Officer of Andersen Corporate Finance, LLC, where he was a recognized industry leader in the formation and recapitalization of entity-level corporate real estate transactions leading to initial public offerings and institutionally capitalized private companies.

 

He began his career as a United States Army Officer. Terry is the lead Independent Director of Avalonbay Communities and a number of other corporate boards and was named a 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Regional Award winner and National Finalist. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia.
