"I started Colada Shop in 2016 to share the vibrant flavors and colors of the Caribbean with Washingtonians.

​

It’s been a long and exciting journey. My love for food and hospitality began at the early age of 13 when I founded a successful catering business from my home in Dominican Republic. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, I've had the pleasure of cooking for some of the greatest chefs in the country, and leading some incredible restaurants.

​

As an immigrant, I am proud to call Washington my home, but I couldn’t find a place that combined my love of good food, coffee, cocktails and social interactions – and so I created Colada Shop.

​

Years later, I’m still finding ways to share the #coladalove with you all.
